Sadly there are people whose heads are filled with evil greed, called "spammers". Besides sending you junk mail, they abuse web sites by posting links to their spam sites in comments and other nasty tricks. These are the scuzziest people on the Earth.
By requiring e-mail confirmation, we make it harder for them to hide behind fake info and use automated methods of abusing our site.
If you have a particularly aggressive spam filter or a spam trapper box, make sure to whitelist regconfirm@fundraw.com so your confirmation can get through.
